I don't know if Optimus prime would be wholly welcomed by the justice league as a superb leader of all or kept at arms length because sending someone truly evil to Primus is 100% in the cards for him.

Optimus Prime would see someone like the Joker after a horrible crime and say "Batman, as an autobot, I cannot not allow this Torturer to live." and everyone afterward would be like "shit he's a WAR hero for a reason"

It would depend on the incarnation of Prime, like season 1-2 G1 Optimus and Animated would have a better chance then say Bayverse or Prime's version
